Roof repairs we handle
- Missing or blown-off shingles after high winds
- Pipe boot leaks. Texas sun cracks the rubber seals around plumbing vents, and it's one of the most common leaks we see.
- Flashing around chimneys, walls, skylights and vents
- Valley leaks where two slopes meet
- Hail-damaged shingles, vents and ridge caps
- Soft decking in small areas
- Metal, tile and flat roof repairs
- Gutter-related leaks and fascia damage
Signs you have a roof leak
- Brown stains or bubbling paint on ceilings
- A musty smell in the attic or upstairs rooms
- Damp or matted insulation in the attic
- Dripping during heavy rain
- Shingle pieces in the yard after a storm
- Granules collecting at the downspouts
What to do until we get there
- Catch the waterPut down buckets and towels and move furniture and electronics out of the way.
- Relieve a bulging ceilingIf drywall is sagging with water, poke a small hole in the center over a bucket so it drains instead of collapsing.
- Take photosPictures of the damage help if you file an insurance claim.
- Stay off the roofWet roofs are slippery, and walking on damaged shingles can make things worse.

Repair or replace?
A repair is usually the right call when the damage is in one area and the roof still has life left. If your roof is past about 20 years, has leaks in several places, or has widespread hail damage, a replacement often costs less than repeated repairs. We'll tell you honestly which one you need.
